Manu Sundaresan is a MD-PhD student in sociology at Yale University. His work centres around the theoretical and legal structures of carceral healthcare, with an emphasis on state processes. He previously represented criminalised survivors of domestic violence in New York and is a graduate of the University of Chicago. Manu's research interests include legal methods in sociology, critical approaches to medicine, and the political economy of violence.
