Ella is interested in collective action and political participation, particularly among immigrant communities, as well as mass incarceration. She is excited to be working with the Movements Against Mass Incarceration Lab and currently interns with a New Haven nonprofit that advocates for and supports immigrant and refugee women and children. At Yale, she is also involved in organizing around social justice in New Haven. In her free time, she enjoys making ceramics.
