Theo is a third year student at Columbia University studying sociology and creative writing. They intend to pursue a PhD in sociology, with a focus on social movements and trans studies. As a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, he researches the evolving advocacy strategies of the transgender rights movement. Theo is also a research assistant in the sociology department, an organizer for the Housing Equity Project, and an editor on Quarto literary magazine.
