Jeffrey T. Vazquez is an undergraduate student at Columbia University’s School of General Studies studying sociology, with a focus on mass incarceration, education inequality, and justice reform. As an undergraduate research fellow and audit-editor on the Movements Against Mass Incarceration project, he supports the preparation and preservation of oral history transcripts documenting the work of organizers, advocates, and individuals impacted by incarceration. His academic and research interests center on community-based justice initiatives, disability and institutional policy reform, and the role of storytelling and narrative preservation in movements for social change and institutional transformation.
