Jasmine is a lover of Black art and Black resistance and is growing as a movement educator and historian. Their writing has appeared in HoodCommunist, PS, Prism Reports, Torch Literary, Inherited Podcast, and Ebony Tomatoes Collective. Jasmine is Co-Editor of Freedom Meridian, a vertical at Apogee Journal dedicated to publishing incarcerated writers' creative writing. Jasmine's work can be explored at Jasmine-Butler.com.
